Once you’ve purchased your kilt, don’t forget to sign up to the RPP’s day of election canvassing. This month Jeremy will be marshalling the troops across various wards and constituencies in southeast London. This will be an opportunity to reach out to some of the country’s most deprived inner city communities, so be sure to wear your kilt with pride when knocking on doors and greeting the locals on some of the capital’s most notorious council estates.
nb: In order to represent the RPP in the best possible light, Jeremy has given strict instructions that only RPP kilt wearers will be admitted on the campaign trail this year. This follows the embarrassing spectacle of last year when Gary, from Sappington Bounce chip shop, "lost" his attire somewhere en route between Exeter train station and Dover Priory. Here's hoping we can all avoid any repeat performances this time around.
Meeting Point: The Fetid Dwarf Public House, New Cross Gate. 6pm.
